Building an email list doesn’t usually happen overnight. It takes consistent effort on your part. OK, let’s face it - it takes work.

The work can be fun, but work it is. Consistent effort.

So, once you have developed a list of people who are interested in who you are and what you have to offer, you want them to stick around!

You don’t want a bunch of tire-kickers… just ho-hum followers who never read or buy anything from you, but are too lazy even to click the unsubscribe button!

You want raving fans!

People whose needs are so well matched to your products and services that they want everything you produce. The perfect win-win.

Seven Secrets to Creating Your Own Raving Fans

Here are some no or low-cost techniques you might incorporate into your business relationship with your prospects and customers. They may not all be perfect for your market and business, but some of them will work great.

1. Offer great content. OK, I know this one isn’t new, but it is so important that it gets a mention (again) here. You can take this a bit further and get into a conversation about what your market wants - and then provide it.

2. Drop someone a personal email, or pick up the phone and call them. Just to tell them how much you appreciate them. Or to see if they have any questions about the product they just purchased.

3. Send them a surprise bonus. Out of the blue, just email them a link to a free report or audio that will be of great value to them. Or you might choose to send them a physical product, but remember that digital products cost you nothing extra whether you give it to 2 people or 2,000 people, once you have created the product.

4. Reward your customers with special benefits or ‘Gold Status.‘ Can you create a special ‘members only’ section of your blog, where you provide higher value content for your customers? Or maybe send them a coupon they can apply to anything you offer on your site.

5. Offer Subscriber-only Teleseminars. While offering free teleseminars to anyone who signs up are amazing for building your list, providing targeted, content-rich teleseminars just for your subscribers or customers also has huge value. Then after it is over, repurpose it and sell it as a product.

6. Share the wealth. Since your intent is to create dynamite content, products and services, your best customers can become your best marketing as well. Create an affiliate program and invite your customers and subscribers to join with you in marketing your products. There is nobody who can promote your material as powerfully as someone who paid money for it and loved it!

7. And lastly, appreciate your prospects and customers, and let them know it! They are the lifeblood of your business.

Costume party masks have been around for centuries. They used to be worn more by the elite of society, but now days anyone can wear an elegant mask that adds a bit of mystery and drama to a well thought out costume. Of course, there are those people who wish to wear the mask only without the elaborate costume. Whatever the preference, Halloween is the time of year when most people look for that perfect black mask that makes an impact.

To make things clear, these are not the rubber masks that often have monster faces, or blood gushing from fake wounds. These are not the masks that resemble real life people. Those are fun, but we’re talking about a more sophisticated adult Halloween mask. Many people are happy to plop a simple, cheap, plastic black mask on their face and call it a night. Others, however, wish to add a bit of creative flair to their party mask. This is the kind of mask I’m talking about. Ones that are unique, playful, and most of all, fun.

At most costume stores, you’ll find a nice selection of black costume masks in all shapes and sizes. Some masks only cover the eye area, while others cover the forehead and the eye area. Try several on to see which ones fit comfortably. Now you’ve got to decide whether you want a big mask or smaller size. The bigger the mask, the more drama you’ll create. The style and size of your mask will depend on whether you are male or female, and what type of costume you’ll be wearing.

Okay, so now you’ve selected your mask. Now you’ve got to figure out how you’re going to make your custom Halloween mask. There are lots of possibilities, depending on the mood you want to create. First, ask the store clerk if you’ll be able to draw and/or glue items onto the type of mask you’ve selected. This is very important, since not all masks are easy to draw on, or they might not take well to glue. It helps if you already have some idea about what types of craft items you’ll be using to create your unique mask.

Here are some add-on items you might consider:

Beads
Ribbon
Buttons
Feathers
Plastic eyes
Metallic paper
Mini pompoms
Fake gemstones
Chains - silver or gold
Glitter (sprinkles or glue)
Lace or other colorful fabric
Stick on stars, circles and other shapes

Remember, you have a dramatic black canvas to work on, so shapes made from glitter will especially stand out. On a smaller mask, you might try lining the eyes of the mask with glitter, then sticking on a few baubles at the ends for a playful effect.

A few things to keep in mind while decorating:

If you are new to mask decorating, keep in mind that when you try to draw a pattern, it probably won’t come out perfect. It takes lots of experience to draw perfectly symmetrical patterns. If your design comes out a little skewed, so what? It’ll still look great anyway.

If you are painting your mask, use darker colors for shading and lighter colors for eye-popping impact.

Too much of a good thing is not gonna win you many compliments. Avoid applying too many decorations. Remember, this type of mask is supposed to be elegant, not clownish.

Make sure you reinforce the rubber band that holds up the mask (with tape, glue or other method) so that it doesn’t break during the evening. If you’re afraid it might break anyway, you can carry extra rubber bands with you in case of an emergency. It would be a shame to have to discard your mask because your band breaks and you forgot to bring a replacement. Attaching a ribbon to the back of your mask is an excellent way to add extra reinforcement.

Creating a unique Halloween costume party mask isn’t difficult, just use your imagination and you’ll soon see that your mask will take on a life of its own. Maybe you’ll create several masks that you can wear again and again. The important thing is to have fun making your custom party mask and enjoy wearing it.

A beautiful gift idea for anyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen.

You will need...
4oz (100g) Plain Flour
3oz (75g) Salt
Hot Water
Paints
Spray varnish or clear lacquer Clock mechanism and clock hands (you will find these at craft shops or Maplin)

To make the Dough...

Begin by dissolving the salt in a small amount of hot water. Add the flour and mix to form dough. Add cold water if necessary but don't make the dough too sticky.

Now you're ready to model your clock face.

You need to start off with a base. Roll out some of the dough with a rolling pin. Use a large dinner plate or a tea tray to cut out a circle from the dough. This is the base of the clock face. Make a hole in the centre of the clock face, which is large enough to pass the clock spindle through with ease.

Roll two long sausages that are long enough to reach around the edge of the base. Twist the sausages together to create a nice rope effect. Fix the twisted strip around the base with a little cold water for glue.

Add fruit and veg to your clock face...

Use your hands to model and mould fruit or vegetable shapes out of dough, to put in place of the main numbers on the clock face - 12, 3, 6, and 9. Don't make the fruit and vegetables so large that the hands can not move past them when the clock is finished.

Once you have made your clock face put it in the oven on a low heat for two hours. It is in the oven to dry out, not to bake so keep the heat low.

When it comes out of the oven, leave it for a couple of days to dry out completely. Then paint, spray varnish and leave to dry.

Push the clock spindle through the hole and push on the hands. The mechanism has a hole for hanging the clock on the wall.

A young man, with more money than sense, buys the hottest, fastest, most expensive sports car available -- a Ferrari GTO -- and takes it out for a spin. He stops at a light, and an old man on a moped pulls up next to him. "What kind of car yaw' got there, sonny?" “A brand new Ferrari GTO. It cost a quarter of a million dollars!" "That's a lot of money". "Why does it cost so much?" "Because it's the hottest, fastest car there is - it can do up to 320 miles per hour!" "Mind if I look inside?" "No problem." The old man leans into the window as far as he can and looks around, then sitting back said, "That's pretty slick, all right!"

Just then the light changes. The young man decides to show the old man just what his car can do. He floors it, and within 30 seconds the speedometer reads 160 mph. Suddenly, he notices a dot in his rear view mirror. It seems to be getting closer and then suddenly . . . hhhooooosssshhh! Something whips by him, going much faster!

"What on earth could be going faster than my Ferrari?" the young man thinks. Then, ahead of him, he sees a small dot coming straight toward him. Whooooosh! It goes by again, heading in the opposite direction! "Couldn't be." "How could a man on a moped outrun a Ferrari?" But again, he sees a dot in his rear view mirror. Whoooosh, Kabbbblaaammm! It plows into the back of the car, demolishing the rear end.

The young man jumps out of the car and sees - it IS the old man! He runs up to him lying on the concrete and says, "Oh, dear - Is there anything I can do?" The old man wheezes, "Young feller, could you unhook my suspenders from your side-view mirror?"

Sometimes in life, you can feel just like the old man. The faster you move forward, the more the wind blows against your face. Encountering difficulty and resistance? It’s because you're making significant progress. Those who have no problems ever venture to accomplish anything. Those who face the most challenges, often create the most value. When a particular problem arises, it’s because you have progressed to the point where you can deal with it and are ready for where it can bring you. See obstacles as a gateway, that’s their true value. Each new challenge is a stepping-stone to meaningful accomplishment. So, feel the stiff wind as it blows against your face. You're feeling your rapid movement forward!

Nature won’t let us stay in any one place too long- just long enough to gather the experience necessary for the soul’s unfolding. The Universe never gives you more than you are capable of handling.

In every person's life there have been instances, which seemed completely shattering, (I’ve had my share!) It takes perception and patience to see beyond what appears to be useless and painful. Appreciate that the larger system, the Good, remains intact no matter how chaotic everything in our own little world may seem. We live in a spiritual Universe that is governed by spiritual law and intelligence.

No matter how frightening a situation may be, it is still transitory. Only the Good is lasting. The rest ‘came to pass.’ Look back in your life and recall the times when you were frantic over some crisis or misfortune that seemed to be the end of everything. Where is that challenge now? Where are the people who were standing in the way of your Good?

When change seems to be THRUST upon you and it looks like it’s ‘happening TO you”, don't get all hung up in the "story." Sit back, wait for a deeper meaning to be revealed. It will!

If the wind of change is chafing your face lately, commit to NOT telling the story for at least 1 week – not even to yourself! Just be with it. Invite the answer to this question: What greater understanding, what deeper awareness of the Law's operation in my life is this experience offering me? Then, sit back and enjoy the ride!

Spending almost $200 of your budget for a modeling flock is too big just to produce a 4' x 4' grassland gaming board. Is always be a problem you will face in making a gaming terrain but this will not be a hindrance for you to experiment on what decision to undertake. Because you want to work on a small budget this is something you had get over.

Doing research on Yahoo or Google on how to create a modeling flock or by just simply asking a friend who knows how to create one. That can lower the $200 to a $10 or less. But be sure to watch and read on the instructions for they will cause you problems in the results of your modeling flock. You should admit that making your first modeling flock will not be that easy for it will not produce similar to the modeling flock that cost $200. You should not be afraid to try every thing every possible way to have your modeling flock be the flock you want.

Without further delay the content of this article is the detailed instruction on how to make a modeling flock.

Step 1 - Get Your Materials Ready

Here is what you’ll be needing:

-a container to mix it in (we use a gallon sized ice cream container)

-a cookie sheet to dry the modeling flock on (don’t use new ones, your mother / wife won’t be happy)

-a tube of green paint (in the picture it shows a tube of blue paint and a tube of yellow paint, but we found it easier to just get a tube of green paint)

-water

-a stirring stick

-sawdust (that’s right, modeling flock is just dyed sawdust!)

-a fine strainer

The tubes of paint that we use are 4 U.S. fl oz, or 118 mL. We buy them at the dollar store for $1.

You can get the sawdust from any lumber mill that near your place. They should be more than happy to hand over a garbage bag full free of charge. If not, then just find someone you know who is a carpenter.

Take note that the sawdust should have been made from sanding, not from cutting wood.

Step 2 - Dilute The Paint

First you will need to dilute the paint that you are going to use to dye the saw dust. The amount of paint that you water down will determine how much flock you will make.

You will discharge the entire 118 mL tube of green paint into the container and then fill the container 3cm (about 1 1/4 inches) full of water.

WARNING: If you water down the paint too much your flock will be brown.

This is the common mistake which will end up with ugly stuff and waste. Even though it started out a nice green it will end up an ugly brown, which was useful only to be used as dirt and not grass. But we are going to create a grassland so better careful.

Mix the water and paint with a stirring stick. You can use any typical stirring sticks that you get from the paint stores, but you can really use anything that you don’t care getting stained with green paint.

(Important Note: The colour of your flock will be slightly browner than the green paint that you mix, so choose a colour paint that is slightly brighter than your desired modeling flock colour.)

Step 3 - Add the Sawdust

The next procedure is to add the sawdust on the paint. First add a small amount just to turn the watered down paint mixture into a compact sludge. Then continue adding more and more sawdust until it is mixed in well with the paint.

The easiest way to tell when to stop adding sawdust is when you add a bit more and it is very hard to mix in (i.e. it is hard to get rid of the brown sawdust). This is the point where you should stop.

Warning: If you stop sooner your flock will not be fine enough.

However, don’t expect your flock to be as fine as the Games Workshop version at this point for they already perfected the mixing of the paint and the sawdust. That will come sooner or later.

Once you have finished mixing the flock you are ready to move to next step.

Step 4 - Spread Out Your Modeling Flock to Dry

You will now need to spread out the modeling flock to dry. You can use two cookie sheets to dry out the amount of flock made with your desired proportions.

In spreading out the damp modeling flock it should be evenly as possible, then put it in a cool dry place and not be hit by strong winds for 24-48 hours. Make sure it is completely dry before proceeding to the next step, or else you will not get the same quality results as what Games Workshop produces.

Step 5 - Screen the Modeling Flock To Make It Finer

A fine strainer with a small openings you will have in doing the last step and that is to screen the modeling flock through it. There may be bunches that are just too hard deal with. You should really work if this happen until you cannot screen a dust from it. This will not be garbage cause it can be use as a mossy rock on another models.

For those that need more than a special cream like Scotty's Face Cream, then you need to work harder to get rid of acne. Since acne is a condition that occurs from within your body and exhibits on the outside of your body, you need to,

§ Attack acne from inside your body
§ Attack acne from outside your body

If your acne is not to severe, all you might need is a good cream and need only to follow a few steps in my 12 step program to get you past the periods where acne is active.

If your acne is more severe, than you may have to follow my 12-step program, since acne is an expression of your whole body system and is a reflection of what is going on inside your mind, cell structure and internal organs.

Acne is an excessive toxic condition within your body, which the internal elimination organs are unable to eliminate. So your toxins are moved into your blood and excreted through your skin. It is an automatic survival mechanism your body initiates in an effort to protect the insides of your body - cells, liquid, blood, organs, and tissues.

There are 12 areas that you need to look at,

§ Keep your face clean
§ Using Scotty's acne face cream or your favorite face cream
§ Relive your constipation and the tree day liquid fast
§ Making changes to your diet
§ Get plenty of sun, air, and water
§ Vitamins you need to be taking
§ Minerals you should be taking
§ Special supplements to take
§ Herbal mixture to use or drink
§ Special detoxifying drinks or supplements to take
§ Brushing your skin
§ Change your attitude

Step 1: Keeping your face clean

If you use face cosmetics, you need to stop. Some cosmetics irritate the skin and can cause acne by plugging up your pores on your face. The cosmetics chemicals that can cause you the most skin and pore irritation and inflammation are:

mineral oil
lanolin
parabens
propylene glycol

Look at the label of the cosmetics you use. You will find that many cosmetics, soaps, and sunscreens contain these chemicals.

Find a water base make up, not an oil base. Find one that does not irritate your face and use it sparingly

When you wash your face don't use any commercial soaps since they are filled with chemicals that will irritate and worsen your acne condition. And don't excessive wash your face as this will dry your skin of the natural protective oil. Also, don't keep touching your face since you spread or add bacteria to it.

To wash your face use only,

§ Castile hand or liquid soap
§ Pure glycerin hand soap

You can pat your face with a clean hot face towel to bring circulation to your face and to help open and move the toxic material, in the pimple, to the surface. Do not scrub hard to burst a pimple but just scrub lightly to burst a pimple when it is ready to open.

Use the hot towel application only 2-3 times per week.

When a pimple is open do not continue to rub or scrub it. In fact do not pick or scratch an open pimple since this could create other sores or leave scars that are difficult to remove. Just washing your face with clean soap will keep your face free of toxic matter.

Keep in mind,

Whatever you put on your skin will move into your skin and into your bloodstream.

Most commercial creams, lotions, and soaps are filled with all kinds of chemicals that are toxic to your body. By using them you are making your liver work harder.

During the day or at night avoid resting your cheeks or chin on your hand(s) or arm(s). This can irritate your face and cause acne to breakout. When you sleep, try to sleep on your back and not with your face or side of the face into your pillow.

There you have it. Step 1, shows you how to keep your face clean to avoid getting acne or to help relieve acne.

Step One:

Using sandpaper, sand the wooden trunk of the music box as well as the lid. Next, use an old paintbrush to apply wood sealer to the trunk and lid following the manufacturer's directions. Allow to dry throughly.

Step Two:

Using a paintbrush, paint the sides of the trunk with yellow acrylic paint. Next, paint the lid and bottom of base with blue and bells with red.

Step Three:

Using stencil, adhesive, or tape, center the border stencil between top and bottom of one side of the trunk. Using a stenciling sponge brush, sponge the stencil with green, red, and blue acrylic paint. Dip a small edge of the sponge brush in green acrylic paint, stenciling one side at a time. Blot on paper towels. Then, lighlty sponge one area at a time that is to be green, being careful not to get paint on unwanted areas. Allow to dry throughly.

You will next carefully sponge over the green areas again with enough coats to cover them completely-do not apply the paint too heavily or it will run under the stencil. Do not remove the stencil. Repeat the process with red and then blue. When dry, remove the stencil, and sponge the three remaining sides in the same way. Allow to dry throughly. Spray trunk, lid, and bells with gloss sealer.

Step Four:

Drill a 1/4" hole in the center front of trunk.

Step Five:

Using industrial strength glue, glue a few Lego blocks together for a winding knob. Glue turntable to back center for Lego winding knob.

Step Six:

Glue musical movement inside trunk, making sure the winding-key shaft is centered in hole. Remove the lid. Glue 5" x 5 1/2" yellow Lego building board to top of the lid, making sure it is centered. Turn the trunk upside down, and glue one bell to bottom of the box at corners for legs. Allow to dry.

Step Seven:

Wind the turntable onto key extender. Wind the key-extender onto the winding key-shaft. The turntable is the winding key. Using the remaining Lego building blocks, create anything you desire. Then, you can take the creation apart and build something new as well!

Making a music box for your child can be a lot of fun. All it takes is a willingness to try. Begin today and create a memory to last a lifetime!

One way to make easy online money is to market your services and products via video. Having Broadband allows customers to download or view videos online and it is getting more popular everyday.

YouTube is one of the most popular sites for viewing videos. There are many other video sharing websites that are getting more visitors too. These include niche sites which specialize in areas such as Internet Marketing. And it is because of this growing popularity that more and more marketers are now using video in order to market their services and products.

It is possible to promote almost any kind of product or service using video, but you need to do it in a professional manner. Most people do not visit video sharing sites simply to watch commercials. However, some might look for funny commercials, class commercials, or those that are new or extremely popular.

For the majority of people, commercials don?t hold much interest. They want to learn something or be entertained. For your video to become popular, you need to employ these tactics. Include exciting, funny, educational, or controversial content in order to be noticed.

If your video contains a lot of high quality content, you have a great chance of your video becoming a viral and this has the potential to earn you a great deal of money. Video is a powerful force. Why? Because it has the ability to persuade you and me to buy or take action, much more than by reading something on the computer screen.

Writing does provoke a reaction in some people, whilst others react better with video. You can really put your point across with video. You can exagerate, show emotions much easier than with words. A lot of marketers feel they don't have the face or voice for video or their budget won't stretch to being able to produce quality video content.

These issues are the main reason why Camtasia (video making software) is so popular today. Camtasia is a brilliant program that lets you take screenshots from your computer and convert them to video. This means you can choose a part of your screen to be shown and then produce your video by simply creating a demonstration to be used as an online presentation.

It also allows you to record your voice using a microphone so you can offer explanations as you present your demonstration. I've used Camtasia many times for the creation of my videos and it is very simple to use and has become very popular with those who don't have a lot of technical expertise.

You can also trial Camtasia and many people have produced their first video within the first hour of downloading it. It comes with training videos and If you were to get stuck, there is also a great support facility as well. If you have an eBook to promote on the subject of Squidoo, you could make a short tutorial about one area of the site such as setting up your own Squidoo (link: http://www.squidoo.com/) group or how to add images to a Squidoo lens.

You can make videos for almost any type of product. If you are promoting a DVD on dog training, you could create a few sample clips. Show owners how they could teach their dog to sit, or how to roll over.

If your product is on the subject of making money with eBooks, you could include a video showing readers how to attract prospects or how to generate more site traffic. You can also ensure that they see the proof of your results in the video.

You might not want to publish your videos on video sharing websites in which case you can publish them on your own blog or website. To generate a higher conversion rate I would also suggest you publish them on your own personal sales page. Video is such an essential marketing tool and can be as productive as the primary media you use to promote your product.

So which product or service are you going to make a video for first to make easy online money?

The Internet is a place where people often keep putting money into the slot machine and hope they will hit the jackpot. Most people make the mistake and think that huge amount of traffic can bring good business without paying any attention to what sort of people are coming to the website. This is the worst mistake of Internet Marketing.

No matter how revolutionary your product or service is, unless it is backed by a well-thought out Internet marketing strategy, it is as good as being non-existent. Getting the right traffic to your website is the biggest challenge you’ll face while trying to set up an online business. When you set up your online business, you don't know them and they don't know you. You need to make your presence felt; you need to set up an identity for yourself that tells your visitors that you are not a fly by night just seeing if this really does work. Your website should represent a genuine business that can really deliver. How can you do that?

WEBSITE

A good website is essential to your online presence. It is your online office; people come there and draw an impression. Even the first glance can make or break a great business transaction. Your website should be neat and clean. It should be accessible to people of all abilities and it should have a well-structured navigation system.

CONTENT

If having a decent website is important, then so is having the right kind of content on your pages. As mentioned above, your website represents you. Since you are not there to directly talk to your visitors, your website must accomplish that task. Make your content as convincing as you can. Make sure your visitors get all the right information they need to take their visit to the next level.

BRANDING

Establishing an identity takes time, and this is not just unique to the Internet. Companies invest millions of dollars on establishing their brands. On the Internet, you need to establish your identity, you need your name to sound familiar, and you need to be there almost all the time. Finally, although there are numerous methods being sold as they claim to make you rich, there is no substitute for a thing called good old hard work. As in any form of business, hard work is needed to build trust, to initiate a two-way communication, to render a countenance to your online presence your customers can relate to, and to deliver goods and services that set you on a path of long-term profitability.

Advantages of a custom website versus using a Website Builder Tool

The internet has revolutionized business all around the globe. Almost every competent new or existing business wishes to exploit the incredible potential of the internet, and the first step is to have a web site designed done and maintained by a professional web site design service or build and maintain it yourself. One of the first things to consider is your computer ability. If you despise computers and software and find them confusing and frustrating then building your own website can be quite a task. One that you may not want to undertake. However, if you enjoy working with computers and learning new things or if you just have the patience to stick with it, then building a website is within your grasp. You may also decide to do it yourself to save cost. If you still feel that you want to build your own site you should choose software that is easy to use and user friendly.

Your website should be as unique as you and your business. You should select the website that is specialized in what will meet all your needs, both now and in the future. Custom based websites are for those who already have a website but are looking for those special finishing touches that quality custom graphics can provide. Designer graphics can make your website stand out above the rest and a custom website specializes in taking your original graphic or photo and turning it into a unique work of art. Quality graphics make an incredible difference in the visual appeal of your website.

Actual site "content" continues to be essential to the success of a website. More often than not though, visual appeal is the determining factor as to whether or not a client or customer will remain on a website long enough, to actually see the product or service the business is providing. Custom websites are for those who don’t have the time to design or create, but want to get things mush better and fast with a nice graphics.

Web site builders are online tools which anyone can use to build a professional looking Web site without programming and have it hosted instantly. No software to buy, no code to learn, all you need is to be a little Internet savvy and know how to click your mouse.

Most business owners today know that having a web site is an essential component of marketing. In the past, the choices were to hire a professional web designer, hire a local teenager to create a site for mall money, or learn to do it yourself. The last two options, are the least expensive, and were the preferred method for small businesses. The results are often not what businesses need to grow, reach, and impress new potential customers, however. They seem good at the start but quickly become limiting.

If you operate or manage a business, you surely must realize the increase in e-commerce taking place today. Many businesses find themselves searching for the best way to increase their exposure on the internet, and for most a website is the first course of action. As most businesses operate on firm budgets, finding cost effective solutions are usually one of the first thoughts when looking to make new purchases. When it comes to creating a website there are many affordable software programs that can produce professional results. Business software should be capable of handling your needs today and in the future. Business are always changing, adding new products, changing or removing old products, offering specials, having sales, etc. By choosing a business website builder over a professional web designer you will be able to make changes to your website whenever you want to. Another benefit is that you will be avoiding the high costs associated with developing the website and costs for making any necessary changes.

Website Builder tools advantages to you are increased revenue, cost control, caters to the large demand existing for web designing in the SME sector and can increase the client base without adding to your overhead. The advantage that your customers gets is a professional quality website, up and running in minutes and a User friendly and easily customizable interfaces that gives a complete website with all its frills and features and a nice attractive design. The downside is that you are limited to the look and functions of the tool and the templates or designs they provide.

On of the advantage of a custom website design is that the web site will look and function exactly as you want. A custom made web site can promote your brand and increase sales. The functionality and design of your website is important, because the images and text on the screen can make an indifferent visitor turn into a keen client, and the goal is to optimize your site to evolve maximum traffic conversion.

As more and more people are starting their own small home business many are finding that having a website is an important factor to consider. When one starts to consider building a website, especially the novice, many questions arise including…. can I create a website myself or should I hire a professional?

Hiring a professional is a great way to go if you can afford it. Although there are several things to keep in mind: how much will it cost? How much will ongoing maintenance cost? What will changes cost? How long will changes take? etc. As a result, many people opt to build their own website and begin searching for software that can easily help them.

As you start searching for an easy web site builder, there are some factors that you should take into consideration so that your new software will serve you now and the future.

There is quite a variety of easy web site building software and content management(CMS) based websites on the market today. In addition, some of the software available today is very expensive, geared more for the professional web designer, and come with a huge learning curve.

The options for small businesses to get a site developed have changed from the past. There are now sophisticated "site builder" tools available to small business owners, bundled with many web hosting packages. By using templates, and a content management system to manage updates to the site, it became easier to set up and maintain a web site, and many development companies have canned this functionality, for a fee. Hosting providers are increasingly offering tools to automate the web site building process, and with good reason. This new option has many benefits, as long as the business owner recognizes that there are trade offs and limitations to getting a web site this way. Some of the downsides are…the design is limited to their predefined templates. The functionality is limited to the tool. Also, in most website builder tools it is hard to perform search engine optimization, which is essential for a site to be found in the major search engines.

One of the biggest attractions for site building tools is the cost. It won't necessarily cost less to get your site this way, but it does provide a way to spread the cost over time. The cost for a custom website varies as per the feature and function it carries with itself.

Many people are concerned with building their own website, fearing boring designs and complexity. However, it is now becoming apparent that there are many custom web site builder software products on the market that promise dynamic layouts, professional templates, and user friendly web design tools. The professional web designers know there are a few more things to know, but sometimes they find some irony in the fact that web developers, in their quest to improve and better the web, have made themselves "optional". Most site building tools today are very robust, making it simple to add forms, searching, maps, guest books, calendars, and a whole variety of elements to a web site. Even better, the hosting company sometimes offers an entire suite of services - the site builder, email marketing, search engine optimization and statistics, all in one package along with the hosting.

There is also a possibility that the service will require you to keep some branding on the site telling people that you used their website designs and tools. This is more common with the free site builders - which pay for themselves by putting ads on your site. If your goal is to build a business web site, it's really not worth sacrificing your professional image by getting something free, which screams CHEAP.

Low quality websites sometimes attempt to sell expensive products or services. These websites cannot succeed. Studies reveals people spend more time on a well designed web page than on a low quality web page. There is a comparative relationship between the amount of time that an average visitor will spend on a web page and the amount of time that was spent building the web page.

Websites are an important aspect of online businesses. They are the first face of interaction between the user and the business. The website creates the first impression on the user and hence needs to be effective and impressive too. It is the job of web design services to make the website user friendly and search engine friendly too, so that it can serve the purpose of both effectively.

A tool can make things happen - but if you don't know what to make happen, it is either a useless tool or a dangerous one. There is a learning curve in knowing how to present information online (called information architecture in the profession), as well as for using the site builder. In other word, the fuller featured the tool; the more there is to learn. If you aren't familiar with color theory, use of typography, information architecture, navigation and interface design, and page layout and design, you can potentially make something that will hurt your business more than help it. So, unless you are already computer and web savvy, figuring out all the features within your web hosting and site builder package can be time consuming and frustrating.

In the end there are ways that a business can take advantage of these new options and still create a functional and professional web site. One way is simply take your time and research the available website templates, and find the one that has the most features and flexibility, that meet your functional requirements. In other words, spend the time to learn the things a seasoned pro would bring to the table. The internet is a massive library of "how to" information, where you can literally teach yourself anything - and with enough time spent, you could potentially learn how to layout information, what colors and fonts work well together, how to conduct your marketing online and optimize the site for search engines. The second is choosing the best suitable custom website design company and work with them to build a professional website that meets your needs get your imaginations carried and make business a greta success.

Developing a brand is a difficult challenge even for the most experienced executives. This is mainly true in hard financial times when consumers tend to forego known brands and names to buy less expensive replacements. Even big established companies have problem with branding in new markets. Oftentimes, launching their products in other countries that have different language creates different meaning or interpretation to their brand name.

It is a fact that a good brand name is important. To the outside world, the brand name represents who you are and what you do. What kind of business do you have? How does your business differ from others? What is your business focused on doing? And what makes you unique, after all? Brand names are especially important for independent professionals and small business because they face tighter competition. And a well designed and created brand name can help them appear more professional, compete on a larger market and stand out in the crowded marketplace.

When you have decided what brand to create, you have to vigilantly reinforce it every moment you are in business. Web site content and domain names should likewise reinforce your brand. Keep in mind that your brand needs to affect all things your business does and every bit of information that comes out of your office. Everywhere you use your brand with uniformity, you are communicating with the voice of your company.

But over the years, there have been some false notions about the naming game. Some says that size doesn’t matter when in fact it does. Long names are unwieldy. Thus, the shorter the name is the better. Aside from being easily remembered by your customers, you can also save a considerable amount of money from not having to spend extra dollars in materials when painting them on vehicles, boards or any material. Additionally, some people think that their customers would take their names literally. But this is not really the case. When a person sees a deodorant brand that says No sweat he won’t literally think that when using the products he would definitely not sweat. That is just absurd. Likewise, no one would think that a car from Rent-A-Wreck is really a wreck. Remember that these names should not be taken literally.

Nevertheless, be aware that creating a successful and effective brand name does not happen overnight. Your brand needs to be built overtime. Developing a strong and unique brand and using them more and more often can create name familiarity to people’s mind and they would easily turn to you when they have a need that you can provide.

There are many artists who struggle with drawing a face and having it actually look like the person you are drawing. These tips should help you to achieve a more realistic outcome and have your drawings come to life.

The first tip is probably the most important. When you are drawing, draw from a good source or reference. For instance make sure that your photo is a really high quality. Make sure that the photo is big and clear, and not a lot of different lighting sources. Choose a subject that is interesting to you. If you want, a good idea is to draw something of one of the masters, like Beugereau. If what you are drawing doesn't hold an interest for you, you won't do as good a job on it, you'll have less patience, lose interest and never finish. But again, make sure that your reference is high quality because if it's not, you'll end up with garbage.

Next, begin your drawing with your outline. Different artists use different methods for this. Also, time is a consideration, so whether you use a grid method or do it by eye, make sure you are accurate. Of course, the grid is going to be more accurate but time or environment may not allow for this method. Also, as you gain more experience you may go by the eye more often as well. Block in and remember that you don't want to add in the fine details yet. Don't get caught up in working on an eye and all of the lighting and shapes of the eye at this point. Avoid finer detail till later.

Then you can start to divide the light from the shadows, hitting the core shadow outline hard making a distinct value difference between light and shadow.

Then go over it with a towel or cotton balls. Never let your skin come in contact with the paper because your sin is made of oil and it will cause great ugliness to appear on your drawing! Instead use a piece of paper under your drawing hand to help you avoid this. Some artists use gloves made for drawing as well. Try and hit the shadow hard and then after you have gone over with a towel erase out some highlights and make the core shadow darker.

You can start darkening shadows make sure that you are using your referenc to figure out where these are exactly. You may have to do this several times till you establish the value you are after.

Not all of the shadows are going to be dark. Never forget where your light sources are coming from. This is extremely important. Look for where the shadows are falling in direct relation to where the light source is coming from.

Start adding the finer details to your drawing.

Blend in light spots and identify the highlights in your subjects hair. A very beginner mistake is to draw each and every strand of hair. Hair needs to be treated as a mass. Remember this and your hair will turn out more realistic than ever before.

Once you feel you are done, you are almost done. What? Well when you are working with graphite, it can be extremely messy and you may need to do some major clean up of smudges. Use a kneaded eraser to lift these.

Take your time with your drawings and you will begin to see that these techniques can be really beneficial. Anyone can learn to draw, it takes some patience and willingness.

One of the quickest ways to boost your affiliate income is to offer high ticket products. Commissions as low as 5% can still pay off handsomely, provided the item carries a big enough price tag. Plus some pay-per-lead programs offer hefty bounties of $50 and up for qualified leads.

So why don’t more affiliates build sites around high-ticket products? Because the higher the price, the more likely your visitors will experience “sticker shock.” It’s only natural. People’s internal resistance kicks in because they’re always a little uneasy when it’s time to shell out big bucks online. This is true no matter how badly they want what you’re selling.

But if there’s one thing super-affiliates know how to do, it’s overcome buyer resistance. So here are 10 never-fail techniques I’ve been teaching my clients and students. Apply each one to your affiliate business, and you’ll soon see skyrocketing conversion rates on higher-priced products and lucrative upsells.

#1 - Turn your pocket calculator into a salesman.

Numbers can almost always support of your selling proposition, so put those numbers to work! Ask yourself how many ways can you MONETIZE the benefit of your product or service. Then put those numbers on the table.

For example, if you’re selling a $1499 teleclass that teaches people options trading, calculate the LOWEST possible profit they will make from your system in one year’s time. Say that even if they got the most mediocre results, they’d still make an average of $300 per day.

That means in a 5 day work week they’d make an average of $1500. In a 4-week month they’d make $6000. In a 50-week year they’d make $75,000. Now ask them to compare that to their current salary or hourly wage. Don’t hype it up, just let the numbers speak for themselves.

#2 – Break the cost into easily digested chunks.

Ask yourself, what sounds better: “$29.95 a month” or “$359 a year?” Even if the prospect has to pay the entire sum up front, show them how that big price tag isn’t so big after all.

A variation of this is comparing the price of your item with some commonplace or routine expense: “For less than the price of your monthly double-lattes, you could be learning the secrets of billion-dollar investment managers...”

#3 – Word the price to make it seem tiny!

A $197 annual subscription sounds like a lot of money. But gaining access to business-critical information for just 54 cents a day sounds like, well... peanuts!

#4 – State the value of each component, then add ‘em up for dramatic effect.

This works best for information products, but if you’re creative, you can use it with almost anything, especially consulting services.

If your investment course sells for $599, make a list of everything your buyers get: digital reports, videos, workbook, telephone hotline, private site access, software, etc. Put a price tag on each - make it realistic, please – then show how they add up to much more than $599.

Or let’s say you’re offering to install, configure, and customize an off-the-shelf software package for a total price of $699. Simply show how many hours you spend on each element, multiply by a realistic but high-end hourly rate... and show how buyers are getting $2500 worth of services for only $699!

#5 – Bundle in bonuses or add-ons that your prospects can’t easily price.

This takes some extra work, but I really love it because so few affiliates are doing it.

Let’s say you’re an affiliate for high-ticket digital SLR cameras. Tell your buyers that when they purchase any camera over $599 from you, and they send you a copy of their receipt, they’ll get a bonus CD-ROM packed with digital photography tips, imaging freeware and shareware, and your handpicked online resources for supplies, accessories, and photo printing.

Sure, you’ll need to contact freeware and shareware authors to get their permission to include their software on your disk. (Guess what? Almost none will refuse – you’re promoting them via direct mail for free!) And yes, you’ll have to write up some tips and find photo resources.

But you can pack this CD with affiliate links. And you’ll be saving your prospects a boat load of time. Your buyers can’t compare it to anybody else’s bonus CD, since nobody’s offering one quite like yours. You can put any realistic value on it, promote it heavily, and get endless viral marketing value out of it.

And best of all, it’s a way to get buyers to VOLUNTARILY give you both their email and snail mail addresses! Nice.

#6 - Show a huge return compared to the purchase price.

Spell out, in dollars and cents, how the cost of your product or service is a drop in the bucket compared to the returns it generates.

Let’s say your $799 workplace safety review course helps businesses pass inspections. Then calculate the exact cost of failing an inspection. List fines, penalties, cost of business shutdowns, etc. These will literally add up to five figures, a huge expense compared to the price of your course.

#7 – Make your prospects relieved that you’re charging so little!

This one’s so easy, I’m amazed more affiliates don’t do it. Show higher prices for other products... then tell them your price, which of course is much, much less!

Are you selling an investment course? First talk about $1 million private investment accounts... and the huge commissions investment managers charge. By the time you tell them about your $599 course, your prospect will breathe a sigh of relief!

Sure, it’s an apples-to-oranges comparison. That’s the whole point. You’re showing your prospect why your $599 course is the least expensive choice for them... and maybe the only affordable one.

#8 - Preempt price objections.

Most sales pages for expensive products and services play on emotions and benefits. They build desire and perceived value over several thousand words and literally “sell” the person BEFORE price is even mentioned.

But sometimes you can do the opposite -– and reap big rewards by pre-qualifying visitors. That’s right, tell people the price up front. Then play on the drama and exclusivity of a big number to weed out the tire kickers!

Here’s an example: “This course is for serious investors only. It costs $1299. If you’re scared by that price, or if you’re unwilling to invest in your ability to create wealth, then our course is not for you.”

Sure, this approach is based on snob appeal. But it’s also very powerful reverse psychology: the more you tell a prospect they don’t qualify, the more some people will insist that they DO!

If you don’t believe this approach works, some of the greatest direct response copy of all time has taken it all the way to the bank. One fund-raising letter that generated millions for a bird-watching expedition stated: “It will cost you $10,000 and about 26 days of your time. Frankly, you will endure some discomfort, and may even face some danger.”

#9 – Use a “false close” to create suspense.

It’s a classic... and it still works. Establish the value and desirability of your product without a doubt, but delay gratification for a few more paragraphs while piling on even more benefits.

The most common false close is the old “But wait, there’s more...” tactic. Even though your case is made, you don’t stop and mention one or two more irresistible benefits.

This is also a great place to meet possible last-minute objections by pulling out the “Warning! Don’t buy any investment course unless it meets these 8 criteria.” If your prospects have gotten this far, they WANT the product. So give them 8 or 10 or 20 more ways to justify that big expenditure!

#10 – Sound like the leading expert in your field.

Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors believe that you’re an unchallenged expert in your niche, they’re much more likely to make that big-ticket purchase.

How do you establish this aura of expertise. Offer UNIQUE solutions they can’t get elsewhere. Show PROOF that your product or service works as promised. Display prominent TESTIMONIALS and ENDORSEMENTS from respected authorities in related fields.

And avoid hype at all costs. It’s far better to sound low key -- but confident –- than to scream for attention.

And remember, prospects aren’t stupid. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they’ll gladly plunk down hundreds to thousands for your affiliate promotions. But if you don’t, they’re smart enough to look to your competitors!

With each decade the face of education has changed to reflect the current trends in education. The policy initiatives of each president, governor, community leader and parent have been aimed at transforming children's learning environments into the ideal situation. While these initiatives may never succeed to meet every child's needs the combined result of their work has created an environment where education can now be tailored to meet the needs of every child through online schools.

Much like the advent of the search engine and booking our own airline travel, the Internet has introduced the nation to online education. To many, the commercial products available from higher education degree granting giants like the University of Phoenix define online learning. However, to a growing population of Americans, online schools have come to define the middle ground between home schooling and personalized public education.

While charter schools continue to spring up across the country, there are a select few that have been created in the charter school mold simply because the education establishment can not keep pace with today's innovations. In Ohio for example, the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT) was created in 2000 not to revolutionize charter schools, but to bring to Ohio's children and families leading education content in a format designed to enable every child to succeed. ECOT provides every child with an education option that delivers to each student exactly what they need while providing the comprehensive state standards based education that is the hallmark of successful public and private schools.

Other online schools and content companies such as the Florida Virtual Academy and K12 Education are part of a growing trend that brings together the real-life education community and the technology community. In many instances this partnership is a thorn in the side of traditional education and educators who see only standard classrooms as the answer to the ills of the American k-12 system

Online schools have revolutionized the workplace for skilled teachers and administrators. The result of this union is the ability to create a tailored classroom for gifted, struggling and needs-based students that, until the advent of online learning, were often segregated to specialty teaching groups to meet their potential.

The education landscape has changed and for many brick and mortar school districts this is a hard fact to face. The local school boards and education departments in America have begun to realize that business as usual isn't he solution to a rapidly advancing world and have begun to embrace the assets of online education.

Unlike the as-we-know-it classroom the online environment can be adjusted to meet the needs of every child and instill the state standards required of students since the advent of the No Child Left Behind Act without stagnating the classroom experience. From thousands of courses to graduation test practice sessions and immediate intervention opportunities, online schools offers to the students and families of 2006 what the computer breakthroughs of the past several decades offered to the business community. Simply put, online schools have the ability to provide every individual with the right information in the right format at the right time for optimal success.

Online schools were once considered the wave of the future. That future is now and the online revolution continues to shape the world of real life education without the boundaries of classroom walls.
